Monty Speaks:

Monty's PictureHoly Guacamole!

It's been a while! As spokesmonkey, I've been tasked with the task of getting everyone up to speed.

  1. The dinosaurs all died
  2. WingNuts 2 development begins.
  3. The Berlin Wall was torn down.
  4. WingNuts 2 development ends and ships!

That's right! WingNuts 2: Raina's Revenge has finished and is shipping now! Baron Von Schtopwatch has escaped from his Temporal Prison and backed by a mysterious partner, is out again to conquer the world. With more than 15 real world planes and over 200 enemies to shoot, there's a lot to do in WingNuts 2.

With amazing OpenGL graphics and CoreImage™ effects, WingNuts 2 is a visual party for your eyes! The game works great on your new Intel Mac, or your existing G4 or G5 Mac!

WingNuts 2 Trailer on Apple.com/games http://www.apple.com/games/trailers/wingnuts2/

"Anyone who enjoys arcade games will love this well-made sequel to an already great game." - C|Net - 5 out of 5

"Freeverse nailed this one. Nailed it so hard you couldn't pry it loose from its awesomeness with a crowbar." - Applelinks - 5 out of 5

"A fantastic sequel to one of Macdom's most beloved original games, WingNuts 2 is a worthy successor" - Macworld - 4 1/2 out of 5

But lets say you don't want to fly amazing aircraft with stunning effects, weapons and bosses; well maybe you should try out Legion Arena from Slitherine, now on your Mac! Take command of the most powerful (and might I add snappy dressers) army in the world as you march over your opponents. You are in full command of the Roman Army, issue orders on the battlefield and upgrade your troops between battles. This full 3D and historically accurate battle strategy game offers everything from Elephants to *Naked Fanatics!

*Note: In Ye olde times, the Fanatics would get all painted up for war, and then strip down to their birthday suits and charge. You've never been more scared than when a naked blue man with a spear comes charging at you! (Don't worry you can still see the Blue Man Group)

Just around the corner, Might and Magic!

Wingnuts 2

So many times people ask me, "Monty, what is on the horizon?" Usually I reply about boats and trees and Chinese fishing boats. Nobody ever laughs at that. So then I tell everyone about the great projects we are working on here at Freeverse.

Heroes of Might and Magic 5 for the Mac.

Freeverse and Ubisoft are brining this jaw-dropping fantasy epic to the Mac. The turn based strategy game puts you in control of a Hero who commands his army on the battlefield. Heroes of Might and Magic has a long history on the Mac, and Freeverse is proud to bring this masterpiece to the Mac.
