Monty Speaks:

Monty's PictureAs a cartoon spokesmonkey, sometimes I feel like the guys at Freeverse take me for granted. Sure, my head is usually empty and my diaper usually full, but that's part of my charm when you really think about it. Would they rather have some computer nerd or marketing weenie writing these newsletters?

And it wouldn't kill them to have a surprise party for me in the break-room this afternoon at 4:15!?

Happy Spring!

Lineform Updated to 1.3 - (Now with .pdf import & edit!)

braingamesNot to be outdone by Sound Studio, Lineform was also updated recently with a host of new features and fixes, the coolest of which is .pdf support.

Lineform is being continually improved upon and it has been garnering lots of great buzz among artists, illustrators and enthusiasts throughout the Mac community. It's so sleek, so simple, so powerful and so well designed that anyone who uses a vector drawing program needs to check it out.

We're not the only fans of Lineform apparently, check out this audio interview Apple conducted with Lineform's creator, Will Thimbleby. (It's worth it just for his accent! :-)

Open Beta Time for the Big Bang Board Games!

Do you have our Board games, feeling a bit adventurous? If so, you're invited to check out this free open Beta* of our new, fully 3D ones.  Just go here and let us know what you think!

http://forum.freeverse.com/viewtopic.php?id=809

* Beta, in computer-talk means unfinished.  So let us know anything odd that happens in the game, and don't throw away your current board games yet.  When you're finished testing you should throw these new ones away and wait for the official GM* release.

* GM, in computer-talk, means "golden master", which sounds cool and mystical but just means they're 100% finished. :-)

Monkey Chuckles

What happen if monkey handle frog in space?
Monkey get Star Warts!

Okay, two monkeys walk into a bar and one is holding a duck.  The Barkeep says "What will it be boys?" The monkeys say "Give us two beers and put it on his bill!"

(Thanks Tim and Debi!)
