On this website you will find a description of my work on the fourth part of Kryptos, also known as K4. While presented in a straightforward, logical, progression of reason, the actual discovery of this process was anything but.  I have left out the many blind alleys that presented themselves, therefore the reader may be left with the sense that this is all obvious.  The sense of wonder that accompanied the discoveries is all but lost in this account, so unless you want to see some spoilers, I recommend that you do not read on.  I also must disclose right up front that this effort stops short of finding the K4 plaintext (just short, if my judgment is correct).  Nevertheless, many compelling “doorways” are passed along the way, and I provide both motivation and mathematical scrutiny for the majority of steps.

This is currently an incomplete website, consisting primarily of my specific efforts to solve K4.  As such, the account here assumes that the reader is aware of many details regarding Kryptos, including the first three parts (known as K1, K2, and K3), the methods that were used to solve them, and other details of the artwork that Mr. Sanborn (the creator of Kryptos) included at the CIA headquarters.

This website will ultimately evolve to include more background information as well as links to other sites of interest.
